GARAGE, launching a new UK store in Birmingham, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing team and drive brand awareness with a first-class shopping experience.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, manage merchandising directives, and push sales targets while ensuring safety and compliant operations. A strong entrepreneurial mindset and passion for fashion are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Assistant Store Manager, preferably in HS fashion.
• Experience in leading large teams and driving sales performance.
• Proven ability to manage high turnover stores.
• Passion for fashion and customer-oriented approach.
• Strong VM, brand standards, and training abilities.
• Social media savvy to extend brand image.
• Entrepreneurial, inspirational leadership with authenticity.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear sales and productivity targets for the team to achieve, inspiring and developing them to be the best they can be.
• Align employee work schedules with sales plans to ensure appropriate floor coverage.
• Role model and develop a culture of outstanding service and best in class customer experience.
• Advocate the importance of being a passionate Garage brand ambassador.
• Deliver all visual merchandising directives to the highest possible standard.
• Develop the store's operational excellence with store availability above expectations.
• Ensure the Store is safe and compliant in day-to-day operations.
• Support omni-channel goals and delivery in-store as needed.
