Job summary

The Body Shop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United Kingdom to share responsibility with the Store Manager for driving retail excellence and strong sales results. You will coach the team to deliver exceptional customer service and oversee store operations on both front and back of house, ensuring a customer-focused experience.

Ideal candidates will have experience in customer service or beauty retail with sales targets, strong leadership, and the ability to analyze performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and/or beauty with sales targets.
• Knowledge of shop operation processes.
• Proven ability to drive sales by leading and motivating a team.
• Ability to solve problems in a timely manner.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights and weekends.
• Good IT skills.
• Strong communication and operational skills.
• Flexibility to work across Sunday to Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Coach the team to achieve exceptional customer service standards with the store manager.
• Oversee store operations and commercial practices on front and back of house.
• Lead and drive a customer-focused store experience daily.
• Learns and uses internal systems and analyzes performance to manage the store’s commercial side.
• Monitor and manage change to meet sales targets and performance goals.
