Job summary

GUESS is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring sales performance, customer satisfaction and merchandising standards across the store.

The role requires overseeing store profitability, staff development, and strong customer service, with travel to different locations when required. You will lead a team to deliver a premium shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Exceed profitability expectations by driving sales and motivating the team.
• Set annual and monthly store sales plans and targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service at all times and greet customers on entrance.
• Analyse sales across departments to improve average basket and conversion.
• Identify training needs and provide coaching to staff.
• Recruit, hire and retain high-quality management and associates.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
• Meet profitability targets in sales, payroll and shrink.
• Create strategies to maximise store sales and minimise expenses.
• Communicate with the team and conduct regular personal appraisals.
