POP MART is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Birmingham New Street store. You will work with the Store Manager to run daily retail operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

The role requires 2+ years in store management, strong English communication, and a track record of achieving sales targets. You will lead a team, manage schedules, and contribute to visual merchandising while coordinating with the merchandising and management

Responsabilités

• Assist the Store Manager overseeing all aspects of store operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
• Train and supervise the sales team, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
• Closely monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the merchandising team and management for replenishment.
• Control stock discrepancy by monitoring inventory levels and preventing shoplifting.
• Own visual merchandising. Ensure the store tidiness and cleanliness are maintained at the highest level.
• Manage the cashier point’s daily opening and closing procedures.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
• Assist in recruitment, evaluation of potential candidates’ performance, and training new team members.
• Perform administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and sales reporting.
• Be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays

The Role and Candidate

We are searching for an Assistant Store Manager to work alongside our Store Manager in our upcoming Birmingham New Street Store! This is a key role in managing the store in all aspects of retail operations and ensuring the sales team provides exceptional customer service that meets POP MART’s standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising a team
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
• Proficient in administrative tasks such as rota scheduling and reporting
• Effective time management and task prioritization abilities
• Team-oriented with the ability to motivate and inspire others

Desirable but Not Essential

• Experience in the designer collectible pieces industry
• Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques
• Familiarity with retail management software and point-of-sale systems
