About The Role

Role: Assistant Store Manager / Location: Birmingham / Salary: £29,257 per annum (OTE £32,182) plus benefits / Hours of work: 40 hours per week - 5 out of 7 days, working a mixture of early and late shifts covering the stores opening and closing times.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager / Deputy Store Manager to help drive the success of store performance and your team's development. You should be aligned with our values, your team, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service. We value passion and enthusiasm, and some of your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading from the front and working shoulder to shoulder with your team
• Managing, recognizing, and rewarding your team while maximizing store performance
• Identifying the potential of your team to ensure a strong pipeline of talent
• Supporting in creating a positive working environment
• Owning store financial contribution to drive sales and control costs
• Ensuring high levels of customer service
• Maintaining awareness of competitors to improve store performance
• Handling store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, including cleanliness, safety, security, and administration
• Encouraging a positive and flexible approach to daily management
