Job Description

As a Deputy Store Manager at Lidl, you will be a key leader, managing store operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Your responsibilities include managing cash processes, monitoring stock, inspiring your team, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will play a vital role in creating a positive environment for both staff and customers, leading by example, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Set a positive example for the team and customers
  2. Manage the store independently in the absence of the Store Manager
  3. Lead and motivate the team according to Lidl’s Leadership & Company Principles
  4. Oversee deliveries, manage the till area, and monitor KPIs
  5. Provide excellent customer service and address customer queries
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
  1. Experience in leading and developing a team in a fast-paced environment

  3. Strong time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills
  4. Confidence to support the team during shifts
