Job summary

Ascent Trust is seeking an Assistant Site Supervisor to join our site team. This role focuses on practical maintenance, repairs, and creating a safe, welcoming learning environment for students with SEND.

The ideal candidate has hands-on maintenance or trades experience, strong organisational skills and can work well both independently and as part of a team. GCSEs in English and Maths are essential; training to gain further qualifications is supported.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent essential.
• Experience carrying out building repairs, maintenance or practical site duties.
• Willingness to develop qualifications through training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Carry out building repairs and maintenance and practical site duties.
• Help ensure schools remains safe, welcoming and positive for children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
• Work independently or as part of a team and manage a varied workload.
