Job summary

Star Academies is seeking a highly organised caretaker for Small Heath Leadership Academy in Birmingham to create and maintain a safe learning environment and ensure facilities are clean, safe and well maintained. The role demands attention to detail and reliable teamwork with colleagues across the school.

You will have experience in building maintenance, record-keeping and handling a range of caretaking and cleaning tasks while prioritising workload to keep essential tasks up to date.

Qualifications

• Experience of carrying out specialist building maintenance work, within the reasonable capacity of a normal handyperson.
• Experience of keeping work records.
• The ability to undertake a range of caretaking and cleaning duties.
• The ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload, whilst ensuring that lower priority work is kept up to date.
