Job summary

Miller Homes is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for the South Midlands region, ideally based around Rugby. The role supports the Site Manager on site, ensuring builds follow the programme and company standards.

You will coordinate labour, manage subcontractors, monitor safety, and maintain security while covering for the Site Manager as needed. Competitive salary with a car/allowance and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar role, ideally with a Housebuilder.
• Ability to plan, organise and monitor sub-contract activity on a day by day basis.
• Positive can-do attitude to progress within the business.
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Control labour on site including direct and sub-contracts to coordinate activities plot by plot.
• Monitor site activities to ensure operations follow the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
• Ensure site security, manage traffic and prevent theft/public access.
• Provide cover for Site Manager during absences.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for our South Midlands region, ideally based around the Rugby area. The role will see you provide on-site support to the Site Manager, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the build programme and to specified company and company standards.

ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Control of all labour on site including direct and sub-contract to ensure that activities are coordinated on a plot by plot basis and as scheduled on the build programme.
• Monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the ‘Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan’.
• Ensure that site security is adequate and maintained at all times including traffic management, prevention of theft and general public access
• Provide cover during periods when Site Manager is off site or for meetings, holiday cover or sickness where required

ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
