Job summary

Miller Homes Limited seeks an Assistant Site Manager for the West Midlands region, based at our Kington Meadows development near Bedworth. You will provide on-site support to the Site Manager, ensuring activities align with the build programme and company standards.

You should have proven experience in a similar role within housebuilding, capable of coordinating labour and sub-contractors, and maintaining site safety and security. A competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar role, ideally with a Housebuilder.
• Ability to plan, organise and monitor sub-contract activity on a day by day basis.
• Positive can-do attitude to succeed and progress within the business.
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Control of all labour on site, coordinating direct and sub-contractors per the build programme.
• Monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure operations follow the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
• Ensure site security and traffic management; prevent theft and control public access.
• Provide cover during periods when Site Manager is off site or for meetings, holiday cover or sickness.

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for our West Midlands region to be based at our fantastic Kington Meadows development just outside Bedworth. The role will see you provide on-site support to the Site Manager, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the build programme and to specified company and company standards.

ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Control of all labour on site including direct and sub-contract to ensure that activities are coordinated on a plot by plot basis and as scheduled on the build programme.
• Monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the ‘Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan’.
• Ensure that site security is adequate and maintained at all times including traffic management, prevention of theft and general public access
• Provide cover during periods when Site Manager is off site or for meetings, holiday cover or sickness where required
