Job summary

ARC Group is seeking three Assistant Site Managers for three new residential developments in Braintree, Essex. The role supports the Senior Site Manager and Site Manager to ensure safe, on-time delivery to high quality standards.

The position requires hands-on experience with traditional-build residential construction, coordinating subcontractors, and a proactive approach to join a well-established site team.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager in residential new builds.
• Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades.
• A Level 4 NVQ in Construction Management.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, quality and build programmes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work in a wider site team.
• Desire to progress in residential construction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day development running.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
• Monitor progress against programme.
• Carry out quality inspections and maintain build standards.
• Support health & safety across the site.
• Ensure works meet drawings, specifications and company standards.
• Monitor and report on build progress.
• Work with the site team to resolve issues and maintain programme.
