Job summary

ARC Group is seeking three Assistant Site Managers for three new residential developments in Braintree, Essex. The role supports the Senior Site Manager and Site Manager to ensure safe, on-time delivery to high quality standards.

The position requires hands-on experience with traditional-build residential construction, coordinating subcontractors, and a proactive approach to join a well-established site team.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager in residential new builds.
• Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades.
• A Level 4 NVQ in Construction Management.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, quality and build programmes.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day development running.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site activities.
• Monitor progress against programme.
• Carry out quality inspections and maintain build standards.

• Monitor and report on build progress.

Assistant Site Manager - Braintree

3 Positions Available | Residential New Build | £45,000-£55,000 + Package

We are currently working with an established residential house builder who is looking to appoint three Assistant Site Managers across three new developments in Braintree, Essex.

Each development will consist of approximately #removed# traditional-build units, providing an excellent opportunity to join an established site team and play a key role in the delivery of a substantial residential development.

The Role

Working alongside the Senior Site Manager and Site Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of the development, helping to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Assistant Site Manager who is confident coordinating trades and subcontractors and is looking to continue developing their career within residential construction.

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities
• Monitoring progress against programme
• Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring build standards are maintained
• Supporting the management of health & safety across the site
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and company standards
• Monitoring and reporting on build progress
• Working closely with the wider site team to resolve issues and maintain programme
• Supporting the project through to completion and handover

About You

We are looking for experienced Assistant Site Managers with a strong background in traditional-build residential construction.

• Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager within residential new build
• Strong knowledge of traditional construction methods
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and trades
• A Level 4 NVQ in Construction Management
• Good understanding of health & safety, quality and build programmes
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider site team
