Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a high-spec residential development in Enfield, North London. You will work with the Site Manager and project team to deliver a quality-led scheme safely, on programme, and to the highest workmanship standards.

The role offers a clear progression path, exposure to a prestigious 60-unit project, and a supportive management team with opportunities across London and the Home Counties.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar in residential construction.
• Experience delivering new-build housing or apartment schemes.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing and quality control.
• Proactive attitude with willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations.
• Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with health & safety procedures.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Monitor progress against the programme and report issues or delays.
• Carry out quality inspections and snagging throughout construction.
• Support material deliveries, logistics and site housekeeping.
• Assist with site inductions, toolbox talks and safety inspections.
• Maintain accurate site records, reports and photographs.
• Ensure works comply with building regulations NHBC standards and project specs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and the project team.
