Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a 2-5 bed housing development in Withernsea, HU19. This contract, on-site role requires hands-on leadership to drive quality and safety on a fast-paced site.

Candidates should have 3+ years on new build projects with UK housebuilders and hold up-to-date SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS certifications. Start date: 28/09/2026; day rate £220–£230.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as an Assistant Manager on new build housing sites.
• Proven experience with recognised UK housebuilders.
• Solid experience delivering new build housing projects.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to quality standards including management of defects and schedules.
• Lead and coordinate the site team and subcontractors.
• Assist with Health and Safety file preparation and risk assessments.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure programmes are met.
• Ensure compliance with NHBC standards and company quality procedures.
• Coordinate with client, consultants and site stakeholders.
• Manage site facilities and welfare arrangements.
