Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a major UK housebuilder on a busy Rotherham project. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure programmes are delivered to NHBC standards.

The role requires at least 3 years on residential sites, SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS, with a proven track record on new build housing. This temporary, pay-per-day position offers a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Manager on new build housing sites.
• Proven experience with UK housebuilders.
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to quality standards and manage defects.
• Keep site clean and tidy.
• Lead and coordinate the site team.
• Prepare Health and Safety file.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and ensure programmes.
• Manage trades, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure health & safety, NHBC standards and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with inspectors and internal departments.
• Lead snagging, customer care and handover.
