Job summary

Bloor Homes is recruiting an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join the South Midlands Region, based in Langford Meadows, Bedfordshire.

Working closely with the Site Manager, you will supervise all on-site labour, coordinate subcontractors and deliveries, and help deliver high-quality homes to programme targets.

This role requires strong communication, site safety knowledge (SMSTS/First Aid preferred) and a proactive, flexible approach that keeps customers happy.

Qualifications

• Experience on a new build construction site.
• SMSTS and First Aid are preferred.
• Knowledge of site health and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret designs and drawings.
• Commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all employed and sub-contract labour on site.
• Coordinate sub-contractors and deliveries to support the Site Manager and build programme.
• Schedule work to meet production targets and maintain high quality.
• Ensure methods of work are followed and best practices applied.
• Assist with pre-completion inspections with purchasers.
• Support the Customer Care Team by ensuring maintenance tasks are completed professionally.
• Attend meetings as required and uphold company policies.
• Undertake any additional tasks as reasonably required.
