Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction seeks an Assistant Site Manager for a fast-paced new build housing project in Syston, Leicestershire. The role involves assisting the Site Manager to plan, coordinate and supervise daily activities on site to deliver on time, within budget and to high safety standards.

You will monitor progress, liaise with subcontractors and clients, and support risk assessments. A SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work and a full driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certificate required.
• CSCS card required.
• First Aid at Work qualification required.
• Full, clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager in planning, organising and supervising all site activities.
• Monitor progress and quality against drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers and maintain communication.
• Support site health and safety procedures and enforce site rules.
