Job summary

Miller Homes requires an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager at our West Midlands development near Bedworth. You will help oversee on-site activities to keep to the build programme and uphold Miller Homes standards.

The role involves coordinating direct and sub-contractor labour, monitoring site operations, and ensuring security and safety on site. Experience in a similar role with a housebuilder is preferred, with a positive can-do attitude to progress within the business.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a similar role, ideally with a Housebuilder.
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations.
• Positive can-do attitude to succeed and progress within the business.

Responsibilities

• Control of all labour on site including direct and sub-contract to coordinate activities per build programme.
• Monitor site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure operations comply with the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
• Ensure site security is adequate and maintained, including traffic management, theft prevention and public access.
• Provide cover during periods when Site Manager is off site, for meetings, holidays or sickness.
• Plan, organise and monitor sub-contract activity on a day-by-day basis.

Job description

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for our West Midlands region to be based at our fantastic Kington Meadows development just outside Bedworth. The role will see you provide on-site support to the Site Manager, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the build programme and to specified company and company standards.

• Control of all labour on site including direct and sub-contract to ensure that activities are coordinated on a plot by plot basis and as scheduled on the build programme.
• Monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan .
• Ensure that site security is adequate and maintained at all times including traffic management, prevention of theft and general public access
• Provide cover during periods when Site Manager is off site or for meetings, holiday cover or sickness where required
  Experience working in a similar role, ideally with a Housebuilder
• Ability to plan, organise and monitor sub-contract activity on a day by day basis.
• Positive can-do attitude to succeed and progress within the business
• Hold relevant industry qualifications and accreditations
