Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our regional construction teams on schemes valued from £500k to £5m.

You will support the Site Manager with daily operations, supervise on-site teams, and help manage materials, costs, and documentation to keep projects on track. The ideal candidate holds an SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or Black), and a valid First Aid certificate, with a construction-related degree.

Qualifications

• SMSTS certification is required.
• CSCS Gold or Black card is required.
• First Aid certificate is required.
• Degree in construction discipline or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager in coordinating daily operations on construction sites.
• Oversee construction workers and subcontractors for safety and quality.
• Procure materials and monitor budgets to prevent overspending.
• Maintain records of progress, costs, and issues, and prepare reports.
• Liaise with clients, architects and engineers, providing updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination: Assist the Site Manager in coordinating daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and according to schedule.
• Supervision: Oversee construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Resource Management: Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors, while monitoring budgets and costs to prevent overspending.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, costs, and issues, and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Communication: Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
