Job summary

We Are Footprint in Blackburn is recruiting an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support day-to-day site operations on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the Site Manager and project team, supervise subcontractors, monitor progress, and uphold quality and safety standards on live construction projects.

The ideal candidate will hold SMSTS and First Aid, have a strong building trades background, and demonstrate excellent communication and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day running and management of the site
• Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Monitoring progress against programme and ensuring works are delivered to schedule
• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
• Ensuring health & safety procedures and site rules are adhered to
• Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks and safety checks
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team
• Assisting with site documentation, inspections and quality control
• Identifying and resolving issues on site alongside the Site Manager

Assistant Site Manager - Permanent Position

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction contractor for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have a solid building trade background, combined with proven experience working as an Assistant Site Manager on live construction projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking for a long-term permanent position with a reputable contractor.

The Role

Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management and successful delivery of the project.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day running and management of the site
• Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and trades
• Monitoring progress against programme and ensuring works are delivered to schedule
• Maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship
• Ensuring health & safety procedures and site rules are adhered to
