Job summary

Bimplus in Dundee is looking for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join our residential housing team. You will support the Site Manager to deliver high-quality homes on time, within budget and to NHBC standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors, maintain health and safety, manage site records, and help provide an excellent customer experience. The role offers a £48,000–£50,000 salary plus car allowance, bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification required.
• CSCS card is essential.
• First Aid at Work preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience in residential housebuilding and site supervision beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in day-to-day management of a busy residential development.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is completed safely and to programme.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental compliance to high standards.
• Monitor build quality and NHBC compliance.
• Coordinate trades and deliveries to maximise site productivity.
• Conduct inspections and assist with QA processes.

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our growing Construction team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career with a well-established, award-winning housebuilder renowned for delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer service.

Working alongside an experienced Site Manager, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of residential developments, ensuring homes are built safely, on time, to budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of a busy residential development.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is completed safely and to programme.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Monitor build quality and ensure homes meet company and NHBC standards.
• Coordinate trades and deliveries to maximise site productivity.
• Conduct inspections and assist with quality assurance processes.
• Help manage site records, reports, and documentation.
• Support customer inspections and deliver an excellent customer experience.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient site.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about housebuilding and ready to take the next step in their construction management career.

You’ll ideally have

• Previous experience in residential housebuilding as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Finishing Foreman, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of UK construction methods and health & safety legislation.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with great attention to detail.
• Ability to motivate subcontractors and work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality homes and outstanding customer satisfaction.
