Job summary

Search is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to start Monday 24/08 on a live refurbishment project in Bristol (BS2). This contract is approx. 40 weeks with the main contractor on site.

The live site requires a DBS check; if you don't have one we can arrange. Applicants should have refurbishment/live-site experience (care homes, sheltered accommodation, hospitals) and be computer literate with compliance and health & safety paperwork. Tickets required: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in refurbishment projects, preferably live-site work.
• DBS check required or available to arrange.
• Able to work with compliance paperwork and health & safety.
• Able to interact with clients on-site.
• Good computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
• Liaise with the main contractor and clients on site.
• Assist with site documentation and progress reporting.

Job description

Assistant Site Manager required for a Monday 24/08 start in Bristol/BS2 - approx. 40 weeks work.

Scope of works is refurbishment of a live sheltered accommodation building in the area - you will be working for the main contractor on the project.

This is a live site and, due to the vulnerable nature of some of the tenants, a DBS will be required.

If you do not currently hold a DBS, we can run a check for you.

Applicants will need refurbishment experience, ideally on a live site of some description (care home/sheltered accommodation/hospitals.)

You will need to be computer literate and familiar with compliance paperwork/health & safety.

There will be aspects of the role that are client facing, so someone that has dealt with clients on previous jobs would be bonus.

Applicants will also need the following tickets:

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Asbestos Awareness

There is some flexibility on the start date and we could arrange for a slightly later start for the right candidate.

Day rate payable weekly via CIS.
