Job summary

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a new build school project with a leading Tier 1 contractor. You will support the Site Manager and help drive safety, quality and timeliness on site.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, monitoring progress, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Immediate start with 6-8 weeks work and potential extension.

Qualifications

• SMSTS (essential) on a new build construction site.
• First Aid at Work (preferred).
• CSCS Card is required.
• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build projects.
• Experience with a Tier 1 or recognised Main Contractor.
• Strong organisational and communication skills and ability to hit the ground running on a fast-paced site.

The Role

A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join the team on a new build school project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a prestigious education scheme, supporting the Site Manager through a key phase of the build.

You will assist with the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
