Willen Hospice is recruiting an Assistant Shop Manager for our Oxley Park shop on a 9-month fixed term. You will support the Shop Manager in daily operations, lead a team of volunteers, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining stock and shop standards.

You will be involved in rostering, cash handling, and promoting our charitable mission within the local community. This role requires weekend flexibility and a commitment to our values.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a retail environment, ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organised with confidence handling money, stock and shop operations.
• Able to motivate and supervise volunteers and team members.
• Flexibility to work weekends and cover shifts as needed, including other shops.

Aufgaben

• Assist in daily shop operation to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Support stock processing, pricing, merchandising and shop presentation.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times.
• Supervise and support volunteers, including recruitment, training and coordination.
• Manage rotas and delegate tasks with the Shop Manager.
• Handle cash, banking and financial records per charity procedures.
• Act as key holder, opening/closing shop and covering Manager absence.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security policies.
• Promote Willen Hospice values and fundraising initiatives in the community.
