Job summary

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative in Ewloe, Flintshire is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to lead a caring, person-centred service for people with learning disabilities. You’ll work with the Service Manager, supervise staff, and help maintain high standards of care.

Shift patterns include weekends and sleep-ins. The role combines hands-on support with admin duties and travel between sites as needed. You’ll model our values of honesty, kindness and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning difficulties in social care settings.
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care or actively working towards it.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel for meetings and activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the service daily with the Service Manager.
• Provide safe, caring, person-centred support to the people we support.
• Lead on staff supervision, appraisals and team meetings as required.
