Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative in Bangor, Gwynedd is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to help make everyday remarkable for the people we support. You will work alongside the Service Manager to create a safe, welcoming, and person-centred service where individuals can thrive.

This role combines hands-on support with leadership and management duties; you’ll lead the team on rota shifts, support high standards of practice, and champion dignity, choice and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning difficulties in social care settings.
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards).
• Strong caring nature to support others to live an enriched life.
• Knowledge of Care Council for Wales Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager to create a safe, welcoming, person-centred service.
• Be a visible, hands-on presence; provide guidance, encouragement and leadership.
