Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative in North Powys is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to help make everyday remarkable for the people we support and our team. The role includes weekends and sleep-ins, with a salary of £29,149.91 per year plus sleep-in payments and mileage allowances.

You will work with the Service Manager to run the service day-to-day, lead the team, conduct appraisals, and build positive relationships to deliver a safe, person-centred service that promotes independence.

Qualificações

• experience supporting people with learning difficulties in a social care setting
• Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards)
• a strong caring nature to support others to live an enriched life and fulfil their potential
• a working knowledge and understanding of the Care Council for Wales Code of Practice
• flexibility to work shifts and provide cover as required
• a full driving licence - essential
• access to your own car and happy to use this for transporting people we support to and from activities as well as obtaining business insurance for your vehicle for which we pay 45p per mile

Responsabilidades

• Lead the day-to-day running of the service in the absence of the Service Manager
• Provide leadership and management to the team, monitor performance and conduct appraisals
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders and deliver a safe, caring service
• Support independence for the people we support and model person-centred, flexible care
