Assistant Service Manager - Automotive Dealership (Crewe)

Location: Crewe

Salary: £35,000 OTE (up to £41,000)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

Saturdays on a rota basis

Are you an experienced Service Advisor or Supervisor looking to take the next step in your career? We're on the lookout for a confident and capable Assistant Service Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy dealership in Crewe.

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established team where you'll be helping to deliver excellent customer service, drive performance, and support the Service Manager in all aspects of the department. It's a hands-on role with real responsibility - ideal for someone who enjoys both leadership and customer interaction.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assisting in the daily management of the service department
  • Supporting and mentoring the service team to achieve targets
  • Ensuring a smooth, efficient customer experience from booking to handover
  • Monitoring workshop loading and performance
  • Handling any escalated customer concerns in a professional manner
  • Working closely with the Service Manager to improve processes and performance

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a senior Service Advisor or Assistant Manager role within the motor trade
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A solid understanding of service department operations
  • A proactive and professional approach to customer service
  • Confident using dealer management systems
  • A full UK driving licence
