Job summary

We are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Service Delivery Manager to join our Division of Surgery. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and excellence within the Surgical Division, working closely with the Senior Leadership team. Key responsibilities include managing rotas across the Division, overseeing scheduling, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. You will participate in PTL meetings and follow up on actions as required.

Main duties of the job

  1. Support day-to-day operational management of the Urology rota and scheduling commitments across the Division.
  2. Coordinate staff workloads, manage rotas for clinics and theatres, and monitor utilisation, waiting lists, and theatre usage to meet performance targets.
  3. Contribute to service improvement initiatives and facilitate collaboration between clinical and non-clinical teams.
  4. Ensure delivery of patient-centred services through continuous quality improvement.
  5. Manage recruitment, training, and performance reviews for administrative and clinical staff, ensuring compliance with standards.
  6. Oversee risk management processes, including audits and incident investigations.
  7. Accurately capture and report data for decision-making and organize team meetings to promote effective communication.
