Job description

We are looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Service Delivery Manager to join our innovative Division of Surgery. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless operation and excellence of the Surgical Division, working closely with the Senior Leadership team.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing rotas across the Division and overseeing scheduling to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  2. Participating in PTL meetings and following up on actions.
  3. Supporting day-to-day operational management of the Urology rota and scheduling commitments throughout the Division.
  4. Coordinating staff workloads, managing rotas for clinics and theatres, and monitoring clinic utilisation, waiting lists, and theatre usage to meet performance targets.
  5. Contributing to service improvement initiatives and facilitating collaboration between clinical and non-clinical teams.
  6. Ensuring patient-centred services through continuous quality improvement.
  7. Managing recruitment, training, and performance reviews for administrative and clinical staff, ensuring compliance with standards.
  8. Overseeing risk management processes, including audits and incident investigations.
  9. Accurately capturing and reporting data for decision-making and organising team meetings to promote effective communication.
