Job summary

Bridgnorth Endowed School and Lakelands Academy, Ellesmere are seeking an Assistant SENDCo (QTS) to support SEND provision across the two sites. The post offers a split pattern of 2.5 days at each school per week, with potential to work 2.5 days at Bridgnorth Endowed School for a full-time option.

You will assist in day-to-day SEND operations, coordinate EHCPs and annual reviews, and help deliver targeted interventions to remove barriers to learning for pupils with additional needs.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with experience supporting SEND provision.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple sites and liaise with families.
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support SENDCOs in day-to-day operation of SEND provision and records.
• Assist in identification, assessment and monitoring of pupils with SEND.
• Help coordinate EHCPs, annual reviews and related documentation.
• Support planning and delivery of high-quality interventions.
• Work with staff to ensure adjustments across the curriculum.
