Job summary

The 3-18 Education Trust invites applications for an Assistant SENDCO to work across Bridgnorth Endowed School and Lakelands Academy. The role supports the SENDCOs, lines manages LSAs, maintains SEND records, and coordinates EHCPs, annual reviews and related documentation, ensuring high-quality provision across both sites.

You will contribute to a culture of inclusion, safeguarding and high aspiration, while sharing best practice between Bridgnorth Endowed School and Lakelands Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating SEND provision and EHCPs.
• Experience line-managing LSAs and maintaining SEND records.
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusion in schools.

Responsibilities

• Support the SENDCo in day-to-day SEND provision, including records and SEND register.
• Assist with identification, assessment and monitoring of SEND pupils; liaise with teachers, parents and external agencies.
• Coordinate EHCPs, annual reviews, and related statutory documentation.
