St Laurence School in Bradford-on-Avon seeks an Assistant SENDCo to promote progress and achievement for SEND students. The role focuses on supporting the SENDCo, developing SEND provision and building strong partnerships with parents, staff and external agencies.
It is 33 hours per week over 5 days, term-time only (39 weeks per year). The successful candidate will have experience in SEND and a commitment to safeguarding within a church of England secondary school environment.
An opportunity has arisen to join our SEND team as an Assistant SENDCo to promote the progress and achievement of SEND students throughout the school. This role will be student-focused and will ensure high standards and expectations for both SEND students and staff. This is a key role which involves working closely with the SENDCo and developing our SEND provision at St Laurence School. The role is suitable for someone who:
