Job summary

Zizzi Restaurants, Worcester, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead the floor in partnership with the General Manager. You’ll manage shifts, sustain food and service standards, and inspire the team during busy periods, with a view to future growth into General Manager roles.

The role offers a 45 hour contracted week with opportunities for progression, plus benefits such as staff discounts and access to Stream for earned wages. This position is based on-site at our Worcester restaurant.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Manager or similar in a high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to coach teams to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Strong focus on maintaining brand standards and KPIs.
• Willingness to take ownership of shifts and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Step up as the manager in charge in the GM's absence, running seamless shifts and bringing our brand values to life.
• Live and breathe the customer journey, coaching your front of house team to deliver standout, "+feel-good" hospitality every day.
• Support team development by giving constructive feedback, building confidence, and keeping team spirit high.
• Take full ownership of the restaurant's "curb appeal", keeping standards and safety spot on.
• Work with the GM to monitor performance, manage the financials, and track service metrics to be "better than yesterday".
