House of Louie in the West End is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support daily operations and lead the front-of-house team. You will champion exceptional guest experiences, oversee service during peak periods, and collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to maintain seamless service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-quality restaurant, bar, or hospitality venue.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with the confidence to lead from the front during busy services.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and health and safety procedures.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make confident decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the front-of-house team, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintaining consistently high standards of service, hospitality, and attention to detail.
• Take ownership of service during busy periods, leading by example and ensuring the team works efficiently under pressure.
• Assist with staff briefings, training, rotas, and performance management to support the development and success of the team.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety and food hygiene regulations.
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and wider management team to ensure seamless communication and service.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression.
• Support stock control, ordering, cash handling, and other administrative duties to help drive operational efficiency.
• Help uphold the House of Louie brand standards and contribute to a culture of excellence, energy, and genuine hospitality.
