Aramark UK is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to help launch the Boiler House Restaurant, opening in mid-January 2026, and to oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on service excellence and team development.

You will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional food and guest experiences, drive sales, control costs, and create a positive work environment for staff. Strong leadership and hospitality background are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience within a restaurant, catering, or hospitality environment.
• Hands-on leader who enjoys developing and motivating teams.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience managing customer service and resolving guest concerns.
• Good financial awareness with understanding of labour, food, and operating costs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Experience supporting a new restaurant opening would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist in managing labour, food, and operating costs to achieve business targets.
• Ensure waste management processes are followed and reviewed regularly.
• Maintain pricing, promotions, and menu standards in line with company guidelines.
• Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
• Act as Duty Manager when required and lead shifts confidently.
• Support achievement of KPIs and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
