Gravity Recruit is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager for Carlisle to lead a large, high-volume Quick Food Service site and support the General Manager in daily operations.

You will manage a sizable team, drive standards, safety and customer service, and ensure efficient site operation with strong KPI delivery. This fast-paced hospitality opportunity offers development in a growing brand.

Qualifications

• Assist the General Manager with daily operations of a large, fast-paced QFS site.
• Manage a large team of colleagues and shift managers.
• Ensure compliance, safety and service levels are exceptional at all times.
• Oversee standards, staffing, operations and commercial KPIs.
• Experience in fast-paced Hospitality or QFS/QSR; high-volume Retail backgrounds considered.
• Experience managing medium to large teams.
• Highly organized with strong operational compliance.
• Commercial awareness with understanding of P&L.
• Customer-focused with examples of putting the customer first.

About the job Assistant Restaurant General Manager (Carlisle)

Our client are a leading Quick Food Service Operator with an instantly recognisable brand. They operate restaurants across the UK and due to a planned expansion they now require a number of new hires to support them through the next phase of their growth.

We are looking to recruit a number of Assistant General Managers across geographical areas to support new locations as they open. Therefore we are looking to recruit flexible individuals who can commute easily across the Area.

The Role

• Your role will be to assist the General Manager with the day to day running of a large, fast paced, high volume QFS site.
• Managing a large team of colleagues and shift managers
• You will be responsible for ensuring the levels of compliance, safety and service of exceptional at all times.
• Ensuring the efficient running of the site, including standards, staffing, operations and commercial KPI's.

The Person

• You will ideally come from a fast paced Hospitality or QFS / QSR background, however we would also welcome candidates to apply from high volume Retail backgrounds.
• You will have experience of managing medium to large sized teams.
• You will be highly organised and able to display high levels of operational compliance.
• Commercially aware with an understanding of P&L
• Passionate about service and able to display clear examples of putting the customer at the heart of everything you do.

The Package

Up to £31,000 basic salary + Exceptional package and development opportunities.
