Newcastle University is seeking a proactive Assistant Research Manager to join the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering. You will lead development of research proposal strategy, work with the School Research Manager, and coordinate in delivering robust, agile research support across the unit.

The role involves collaboration across university teams and consistent service delivery aligned to priorities.

Formación

• Sound understanding of the research environment.
• Experience of research administration in HEI or funding body.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement a strategic plan for awareness and support of research proposals.
• Coordinate agile support for proposals across the unit with university teams.
• Provide guidance on costings, pricing strategies and costing of applications.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment and manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Ensure timely submission of high-quality, complex funding applications.
• Support induction and training for research and enabling colleagues.
