We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Range Planner to join our Commercial team. In this role, you won’t just be crunching numbers – you’ll be turning customer mission data (think: who’s buying and for what occasion) into actionable insights that directly influence what we sell, how we trade, and how we grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze mission data (occasion & recipient) to identify trends and guide decision-making across trading and campaign teams.
- Create weekly trade updates to highlight seasonal opportunities and performance, shaping strategies that drive commercial results.
- Support buyers with deep dives into supplier and product performance, identifying opportunities, and benchmarking against competitors.
- Assist in automating reporting processes in Tableau, collaborating with our Range Planner and BI team to enhance efficiency and visibility.
- Present your analysis to senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, compelling insights that inspire action.
- Conduct regular site visits and competitor analysis to identify ways to improve customer experience, product range, and pricing strategies.
About you:
- No extensive experience required – an analytical mindset, eagerness to learn, and ambition to grow in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Confidence in communicating insights and bringing data to life for diverse audiences.
- A team player with a positive, proactive attitude and curiosity to learn more.
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and enthusiasm to develop skills in SQL or Tableau (training provided if needed).
- Detail-oriented, commercially aware, with an interest in consumer behavior and online retail.
