Job summary

Think Recruitment is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the North-West region. The role focuses on securing realistic costs for refurbishments and responsive works in social housing, liaising with contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure costs, profitability and value align with project needs.

The successful candidate will support senior surveyors, manage the regional CVR process, monitor cash flow forecasts and assist in procurement and payments to sub-contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in refurbishment projects and social housing sectors.
• Ability to liaise with contractors, suppliers and clients.
• Strong cost control and value engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly CVR process for region.
• Lead and manage a team including QS/AQS/TQS & Commercial Admin.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects.
• Ensure invoices are accurate and certified for timely payments.
• Support payments to sub-contractors and liaise with Contract Managers.
• Attend meetings with clients and colleagues to build relationships.
