Job summary

Fetch Recruit is assisting a leading prime residential contractor based in Chelsea, London, to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. You will support a Commercial Manager, manage high-value packages, and gain exposure to bespoke refurbishments of Grade I & II listed buildings with project values up to £15M+.

The role requires 12 months+ experience with a main contractor or developer, excellent English communication, and ambition to pursue APC/RICS.

Qualifications

• 12 months+ experience with a main contractor or developer.
• Exceptional verbal and written English due to client-facing nature.
• Ambition to pursue APC/RICS or further professional development.
• Local knowledge: based within a reasonable commute of West London/Chelsea.

Responsibilities

• Package management for high-value specialist packages.
• Procurement: negotiating with niche suppliers.
• Commercial support: valuations, variations, cost reporting.
• Contract administration: exposure to JCT forms of contract.
