Job summary

Semperian Group in Cheltenham is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Manager with lifecycle replacement and variation works. The role may be permanent or temporary, with occasional travel to other locations as needed.

You will assist in feasibility, scope, tenders, procurement, and manage contracts, valuations and cost reporting for multiple projects, while adhering to contractual requirements and regulatory standards. eDV clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related discipline.
• Working towards MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or MCIBSE professional qualification.
• Experience in refurbishment and fit-out projects with knowledge of JCT contracts and Building Regulations.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills with multi-project delivery ability.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial delivery of lifecycle and variation projects across Semperian portfolio.
• Assist feasibility assessments, scope development, tender docs and procurement.
• Administer contracts, valuations and variations with accurate records.
• Monitor project costs, provide commercial reporting and financial management support.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers and stakeholders for multiple projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, project documentation and auditing processes.
