Job summary

Boden Group in Gloucestershire is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of lifecycle replacement and variation projects. You’ll work with the Commercial Manager on procurement, cost control, and reporting across several refurbishment schemes.

Ideal candidates hold a Quantity Surveying degree and have experience with JCT contracts, cost control, and contract administration. A UK driving licence is required, with a permanent position offered in Gloucestershire.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a construction discipline.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within consultancy, contractor or client organisations.
• Experience delivering refurbishment, fit-out or similar construction projects.
• Working knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration.
• Knowledge of construction methods, Building Regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
• Chartered status or progression towards RICS, CIOB, APM or CIBSE would be advantageous.

About You

To be successful as the Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll have:
