Job Description:

The role involves interpretation and understanding of the obligations, responsibilities, and liabilities of the parties to the contract, as well as the contract estimate including settlement adjustments. The assistant will support the Intermediate Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor by providing commercial, contractual, and financial advice to the delivery team, ensuring adherence to procedures, preparing reports, managing subcontract packages, archiving documentation, resolving issues, and protecting the company's interests through prompt payments.

About You:
  • GCSE Maths and English.
  • Studying for HNC, HND, or Degree.
  • Experience or awareness of subcontract accounts, procurement schedules, payment applications, final accounts, cost/value reporting, and variations.
  • Knowledge of Quantity Surveying, standard forms of contract, and construction processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, numeracy skills, intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word, and problem-solving abilities.
