Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Perth area looking to add one of the biggest names in the industry to your CV?

We are delighted to have been appointed to work with this housebuilding powerhouse as they expand their commercial team, ensuring they have the right people in place to support the delivery of upcoming developments. This is an exciting opportunity to join the thriving commercial team based in Perth, offering opportunities to enhance your knowledge and further your career within the industry.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the duties of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will include:

1. Supporting the management of 2-3 live sites concurrently.
2. Assisting with legal and contractual issues to ensure project profitability while adhering to Group guidelines.
3. Estimating materials, time, and labor costs to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Supporting the appointment and management of subcontractors, including sourcing and negotiating contracts to meet build and quality targets.
5. Monitoring subcontractor performance to ensure costs are controlled and projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
6. Collaborating with other departments to meet targets.
7. Producing accurate valuation reports and management information for informed decision-making.

What experience, qualifications, and skills are we looking for?

• Experience in housebuilding, main contracting, or groundworks industries is desirable.
• A relevant construction qualification.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
