Job summary

I & H Brown is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the construction cost management team in the UK. This permanent, full-time role is on-site in Perth, Scotland, working with project teams to keep costs on track and deliver quality outcomes.

You will assist in cost estimates, budgets, and financial reporting; conduct site visits; prepare records; and contribute to tender documents and final accounts.

Qualifications

  • Provide support in the preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.

Job description

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will play a vital role in supporting the quantity surveying team within the building and construction industry. Based on-site with our head office located in Perth and Kinross, Scotland, this permanent, full-time position involves assisting in the management of project costs, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall success of the organisation by providing accurate financial information and supporting the delivery of projects on time.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
