Job summary

HJH Commercial Consultants in Deeside is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support civil engineering and utility projects across the North West.

You will assist with site measures, cost plans, tender documents, subcontractor payments, valuations, and client meetings, under the guidance of a Senior QS, with opportunities to develop through training and qualifications.

A hands-on role with travel across the North West and a clear path to progression within a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years Quantity Surveying experience within a civil engineering / utility environment.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Bsc Quantity Surveying Degree / HNC desirable however not essential.

HJH Commercial Consultants are an award-winning consultancy that offers a wide range of Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management services. We operate across the UK and specialise in bulk earthworks, drainage, civil engineering, utilities, fibre, streetscapes and renewable energy. We have a niche team of Quantity Surveyors and a varied client base including large tier 1 contractors through to small-medium sub-contractors.

Location: Deeside.

Experience / Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years Quantity Surveying experience within a civil engineering / utility environment. We would also consider an experienced commercial assistant looking to take the next step in their career.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Bsc Quantity Surveying Degree / HNC desirable however not essential.
• Driving License and able to travel across the North West.
