AtkinsRéalis, a leading engineering services organisation, seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join our South West East Complex Projects team in the UK. You will collaborate with client teams, manage costs, support procurement, and administer contracts across varied civil infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Working towards membership of RICS or equivalent.
• Ideally degree qualified in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client team including leadership, project managers, contractors and internal managers.
• Monitor project costs to ensure delivery within budget and validate contractor costs.
• Provide regular input to financial reports to keep clients informed of outcomes.
• Support procurement by evaluating and appointing contractors.
• Administer contracts and manage changes, ensuring compliance with terms and timely submissions.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks; assist in value engineering to improve project performance.

Validating contractor and supplier costs & payments.* Reporting - Providing regular input to financial reports to ensure our clients have confidence in their project outcomes.* Procurement – Supporting the procurement team in evaluating and appointing contractors.* Contract Administration - Administering various contract types, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Supporting with contract change by reviewing validity, quotations and ensuring timely submissions and agreement. Working closely with the team to maintain accurate and comprehensive project records.* Risk and Value Management - Identifying, analysing, and mitigating commercial risks.
