THE ROLE
An opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work for a large firm of PQS / construction consultants based in Cambridgeshire.
You will initially work on interesting projects for aviation / airports.
They are seeking people who are ideally approaching APC or with a couple of years experience of working for another firm of PQS or consultants, or people who have recently taken the APC.
Support to complete your APC to become chartered with the RICS will be given.
They are working on all aspects of the PQS role, doing both pre and post contract work.
The company is a large firm of construction consultants providing Quantity Surveying / Cost Management, Employers Agent, etc., for projects both in the UK and abroad.
They currently have offices across the UK and internationally.
Their projects include new builds and refurbishments across sectors such as commercial offices, residential, arenas, sports stadia, data centres, airports, life sciences, and more.
You should be a BSc or MSc qualified Quantity Surveyor currently working for another firm of PQS or consultants.
Good pre and post contract experience is required.
You should be able to work well in a team and be keen to complete your APC to become chartered with the RICS, or you may have recently completed it.
Experience across various building projects is preferred.
Strong analytical skills, a stable work record, and excellent English language skills (written and spoken) are essential, along with good client-facing skills.
Salary is negotiable based on experience, plus benefits including RICS fees and support, pension, discretionary bonus, and other benefits.
