Assistant Quantity Surveyor required to join a leading civil engineering contractor based in the Horsham area. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will ideally come from a civil engineering or groundworks background with some quantity surveying experience. The role involves working with the Quantity Surveyor / commercial team to manage resources throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring project success and maximising profit. Responsibilities include providing planning, provision, and monitoring of commercial support and assurance to the Project Manager and delivery team, pursuing professional development, and supporting the development of other commercial staff. The role requires competency in all commercial duties, including contract negotiation, procurement, variations, valuations, payments, and final accounts.
